"Excellent tour! Bente was my guide and I learned so much from her! She gave me a personal tour of the Danish Jewish Museum, encouraging me to ask any questions as they arise. She shared her personal story of her grandparents & parents escape. In the fishing town, we were able to see the very boat that rescued her grandparents. This was an extremely informative tour. We really enjoyed the trip seeing the inside of the synagogue and community center, as well as going to the fishing village where many Jews boarded small boats for Sweden in 1943".

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Michael. As a member of the secular Jewish community in the US, I was very interested in how a small Jewish community addressed diversity of religious practices and views. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful and open to sharing his perspectives. He filled in many of the details related to the history and experience of Danish Jews that we had not learned through our other tours and visits (visit to the Museum of Danish Resistance and a excellent walking tour through Politically Incorrect Tours). The visit to the synagogue and walk through the neighborhood were great.
Our guide, Pia Litwar, took us on an amazing tour of the Great Synagogue in Copenhagen and the Danish rescue of the Jews from the Nazis during WW II. Because her parents and grandparents were rescued, she wove an emotional and intimate portrait of the fishermen who ferried Jews across the sea to safety in Sweden and of other Danes who supported the rescue effort. She and her children and grandchildren are members of the synagogue and Pia also taught there, so she has a very special understanding of the history of the synagogue and of the history of the Jews in Copenhagen. My husband and I highly recommend her. She was absolutely excellent! We are still talking about all that

My husband & I had a tour with Phillip which was excellent - he was clear & organized in his presentation & description about Jewish life in Copenhagen, both past & present. So interesting....We toured the synagogue, and then walked over to the museum, while he pointed out many places of daily life, with a Jewish history & significance. thank you again

We had a wonderful day touring with Ronen from Jewish Copenhagen. His knowledge and insight to Jewish Copenhagen and Copenhagen in general was amazing. We learned so much history. We also had a visit to the synagogue that had been attacked in 2015. As an add on, we went to the town of Dragur, which was so interesting because they helped Jewish people survive WWII.
